Ante-natal classes and/or small group sessions are for Mums-to-Be after 12 weeks. Previous Pilates experience is not required. These classes or sessions are lead by a physiotherapist who also educates you on the changes occurring in the body.
All exercises are adapted to ensure both Mum and Baby are safe while strengthening the necessary muscles for birth and recovery afterwards. Exercises increase the awareness and control of the pelvic floor and the abdominals. This improves back pain and helps recovery after birth. Course materials are included to ensure you can exercise safely at home between our weekly classes.
Post-natal mums return with baby until there is adequate muscle control to attend one of the regular classes.
Classes are limited in size to ensure close supervision. Small Groups of upto 4 ladies per session alows the incorporation of the pilates reformer and other exercise machines.
