After qualifying from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1997 with a BSc Hon in Physiotherapy. Jen continued expanding her musculoskeletal knowledge with many postgraduate courses including Manipulation, McKenzie and a post graduate certificate in Acupuncture. Most recently Jen has qualified as a Pilates instructor.

Cath McFadyen

Cath greatly enjoys working as part of a team and has since found a niche at Active Physio Tauranga where she enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly complex lower back disorders. She is also qualified in western acupuncture and teaches matwork pilates having recently qualified as a Certified Instructor.

Marcel Scrivener

Marcel spent a year working in Switzerland as a ski and snowboard instructor and then returned to New Zealand to begin his physiotherapy career in private practice.
Marcel has worked in both rural and city physio clinics, where he has gained experience in treating a wide variety of conditions. He enjoys the challenge of finding the underlying cause of recurrent and chronic problems, as well as injury prevention. He combines manual therapy techniques with acupuncture and muscle balance assessment, to provide the best long-term outcomes for his clients.
